2001 年末、ANAGRAM からリリ〜スされた 2 枚組コンピレ〜ションです。HAWKWIND DAZE 管理人 様 よりジャケ写と情報を頂きましたので掲載致します。
アルバムタイトルと上記の曲目でお解りの方もおられると思いますが、本コンピは過去に同じく ANAGRAM からリリ〜スされた ｢The Best Of Friends & Relations｣ と ｢Hawkwind Friends & Relations The Rarities｣ を単にカップリングしただけのもの、とのことです。2 枚組というコトで一応見開きのジャケになっていますがブックレットとかは無く、内ジャケも単に ANAGRAM のホ〜クス CD のカタログを載せただけという極めてテキト〜なものだとか。ジャケにはエラソ〜に "LIMITED EDITION" などと書かれていますが (左下の青い文字ですね) 、｢単に売れないから初回プレスオンリ〜なのでは｣ とは HAWKWIND DAZE 管理人 様 の弁。まぁ、そんなトコでしょう、きっと。っつうかホ〜クスのこのテのコンピで再プレスなんて間違ってもなさそ〜ですよね。あ、レギュラ〜アルバムもだったりして･･･(汗) 。

｢The Best Of Friends & Relations｣ と ｢Hawkwind Friends & Relations The Rarities｣ の完全ダブりモンとは云え、それらのコンピは最近もうあまり見かけなくなってきましたので、買い逃した方や最近ファンになられた方などには打ってつけなのではないでしょうか。価格も 2 枚組にしては ¥2,500 程度とかなりお安くなってましたし。まぁかなりマニアックな内容ですので間違っても最初に聴くアルバムでは無いと思いますケド。
実はコレ、ワタシも外盤屋の店頭で発見したんですが、曲目を見て完全ダブりモンと判明したので買わなかったんですよね。ブックレットとか入っていたら買おうかと思ったんですが、パッケ〜ジ (デジパック) の横のスキマから覗き込んでも何も入っていませんでしたし (見えるだけ良心的っつ〜ハナシも) 、ジャケットも毎度のコトとは云え激ダサですしね。うぅ、でも一頃は完全ダブりモンと解っていても、しかも激ダサジャケでも ｢The Stonehenge Collection｣ とか GET してたんだよなぁ･･･最近愛情が足りないのかなオレ (汗) 。
